As I mentioned last time, Geoffrey was getting very excited about his impending trip to watch the World Athletics in Beijing, and so in late August, he, Brent Halley and Rob Homan headed over to meet up with Ben and Chad Butson and soak up this most marvellous athletics event. They loved every minute of it, and despite a little ticketing hiccup initially, ended up watching from incredible seats the entire 10days. Usain Bolt’s awesome wins were some of many outstanding performances. China was remarkably reasonable cost wise, which was a bonus – I think Ben’s recent ticket to see ABs vs Namibia cost the same as the entire week of athletics….
