I hope you all noticed the great pic of the “CAVY” bike rack outside our clinic in the ODT – thanks DCC for this initiative. Do please come by bike if you can, now that the weather is obliging. We have a bike lock inside the clinic at reception, so just ask if you need one. Enjoy making the most of our many cycle paths. Ben told us recently of an initiative in London where workplaces fund part of bike purchases to encourage workers to commute by bike – it is a global necessity, and everyone needs to start enjoying the benefits of commuting by bike. Embrace it!! A bike library is in the wind for Caversham too, so hopefully that will be operating in a month or so too.

There is also a Caversham Community Move Me day on 7 November too, which if you live in the area, or otherwise, is a fun day to be part of – lots of prizes!! We will be having Pilates 20” try outs in the clinic with Fiona taking the groups at quarter past/quarter to between 1-3pm, and Barbara will be at a stall at Carisbrook School 1230-3.30pm, so do come and find us. Clare is also holding a taster of her exercise class for seniors at the Presbyterian Church Hall in Thorn St between 1-2pm, so you are welcome to participate and try out all activities. Our walking group will also be taking one of the Move Me Caversham routes, so please also feel free to join in and walk around our glorious suburb. Google:“Caversham Move Me” and all will come up c/o DCC events. Hope to see you there. Geoff won’t be here that day as he will be en route to New Plymouth, to bike via the East Cape to Napier with all the biking boys, so no doubt there will be more stories to tell after that trip! Thanks Clare, Fiona and Nicki for covering that week for us. Hope you are all out there enjoying this wonderful spring weather and we look forward to seeing you all out making the most of it! Do get in touch if you want to join us for any activity: Pilates, Tues walks, Seniors exercise https://cavershamphysio.co.nz/. 4877323. Geoff and Barbara
