As mentioned last time, we continued to fundraise for the Physio Pool until we drew the raffle, which we did during a fundraiser organised by other friends of the Pool in August. We battled the July elements to sell tickets at The Farmers Market and in workplaces until then, generating a further $6,000 and raising in total $29,009.75 which we then handed to The Trust. We await to hear final totals with interest, but hopefully with ongoing fundraising efforts and lotteries grants the target will be met soon. In early September $890,000 of the $1million required for capital works had been raised, and $173,000 of the $500,000 for future operating costs had been raised (which included our $29,000), so a great effort everyone and thanks to you all for your contributions at the Dance and in the raffle purchasing that followed:):):) and now don’t forget to get in there and enjoy it often!
