Those of you who have been into the clinic over the last month may have met Fiona, who joined us late in August to help cover whilst Clare was away in Europe for 5 weeks. We have been thrilled to have Fiona’s expertise, and despite juggling life with three little people, she is going to be able to continue on Clare’s return this week with Wednesday after school and Saturdays 8am-1200.
Fiona has worked extensively as a Senior Physiotherapist in Dunedin Hospital’s outpatient department, after returning from 3 years working in UK hospitals. Her areas of interest include Pilates, Hydrotherapy, exercise classes, the artificial limb clinic and rotational ward cover, which included teaching students. Fiona is going to take our Wednesday Pilates groups from Term 4, which will be great – we have a second class starting too that night which is great.
